Rebecca Lei Huang received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Macau. She is currently a MSc student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interest is in social epidemiology, with special focus on the following health issues:
- Overweight and obesity
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Well-being in migrant populations
- Behavior and environment related interventions
She is also interested in the following quantitative research methods:
- Spatial analysis
- Network analysis
- Regression discontinuity
- Causal inference from cross-sectional data
