Yiqun Gan is a professor at School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Peking University, China. She received her Ph.D. in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1998. She has published over 130 research papers as the first or the corresponding author, and her findings were published in top international journals. She has been the principle investigator of several research projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China. She currently serves as the co-Editor-in-Chief for an official journal of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) “Applied Psychology: Health and Well-being” and the President-Elect of Division 8 of IAAP. She is also an Associate Editor in SCI/SSCI indexed journals, “European Journal of Cancer Care” and “Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology”.

Yiqun Gan’s research focuses on theoretical explorations and digital interventions of stress and coping. Her research on future orientation and resilience has embraced numerous state-of-the-art techniques such as laboratory experiments, molecular genetics, physiological indexes, eye tracking, and ERP. She has won the title of “Recognized Psychologist” by the Chinese Psychological Society, has been awarded fellowship of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), and Distinguished International Affiliate (fellow equivalent) in Society for Health Psychology (Division 38) of American Psychological Association (APA).
